Jan is an independent consultant and founder of BOCH CONSULTING, LLC specializing in technology for facilities management and in energy efficiency control. He has taught electrical engineering and information technology courses at City College of Technology of CUNY, Dutchess Community College of SUNY, New York Institute of Technology, Manhattan College of Riverdale, and at the University of Marie Curie-Sklodowska of Lublin where he was rewarded twice for his teaching effectiveness. Jan is a consultant at the Gerson Lehrman Consulting Group and he has earned several professional certificates and designations, some of them are FMP - Facilities Management Professional (from the International Facilities Management Association, CDRP - Certified Data Recovery Professional (by the Review Board of Information Assurance), was recognized by the Board of Directors of the Environmental Education Foundation as an Environmental Professional [REP] and as an Environmental Contractor [REC]. Jan has received recognized by the US training in computing technology and network security. Jan is associated with several professional organizations, some of them are ACORE, IEEE, AEE, AFE, USGBC. Recent work is to design a course “Introduction to the Smart Grid Infrastructure and the Security System” for virtual classes at the College of Energy Efficiency and Sustainability of the Bridging Nation University of Washington DC. Jan has MS in Facilities Management from the Pratt Institute School of Architecture, and MS in Electrical Engineering from Warsaw Polytechnic, BS in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic of Lublin. |
